WECE is proud to announce its partnership with News 2 You.

Thanks to N2Y's CEO Ms. Jackie Clark, our students in Haiti are learning English the most effective way.  N2Y is an English curriculum that encompasses all core subjects.  News- 2 -You offers a standard based, comprehensive curriculum with differentiated materials for special education students. Most important of all, News-2-You has a transition component that helps prepare students for the world of work.  The different transition modules include: Daily living skills, lifetime skills, work skills, rights and responsibilities, problem solving skills, first aid skills, job exploration, work attitude, application and interview skills.  News-2-You is an American Company, lessons such as Rights and Responsibilities are included but are  reviewed and culturally adjusted to the Haitian context.  All of the students enrolled in the WECE/N2Y partnership program are taught in Haitian Créole and English.

WECE is extremely proud of this partnership and acted upon the opportunity for our students to learn the English language very quickly.

After much preparation and teacher training done in 2015, WECE in parnership with EMESAH institution mixte of Haiti officially began the program in February of 2016.

Teachers participated in a  two-day  training session before the implementation.  All supplies were ready, including internet access, and provided to the school. The program officialy began on February 22, 2016.

We shared some photos of the training sessions and WECE's classroom visit.

Thanks again to Ms. Clark and her team at N2Y!
